



Bio
Graduated in 2008 in cinematography at the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA), Cuba. Since then, I have worked as director of photography mainly in documentaries and fiction films, among them “Una niña, una escuela” and “Los amantes”, both awarded in Photography at the Muestra Joven, Cuba. My first work as a director, “Que valga la alegría” (Doc., 2009), has been presented at national and international festivals.
I currently work as a freelance colorist, cinematographer and camera operator in documentaries, fiction and music videos. In addition, I work as colorist and color correction advisor for the final academic exercise of the first year at the International Film and Television School of San Antonio de los Baños (EICTV). I have also worked as a tutor and opponent in undergraduate thesis at the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA).
Among my latest works, I have directed the photography of the video art “Generation”, directed by Carlos Lechuga for the visual artist Marcos Castillo; the documentary feature film “Ay, cariño” (in postproduction) by director Gretel Medina; and the cinematography of the fiction feature film “Vicenta B”, directed by Carlos Lechuga.
